Estate guardian or Guardian couple

To ensure the security, maintenance, and smooth operation of a 4-hectare estate located on the island of Formentera, while keeping it in perfect condition and ensuring the comfort of the owners and their guests EDMAR Int. is seeking a year-round Property Manager.

The property includes a main house of 800 m², an annex house, a swimming pool, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, vineyards, and olive trees. The ability to propose, develop, and manage improvement projects will be highly valued.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main liaison with the owner and safeguard their interests
• Ensure security and control access to the property
• Maintain and care for all facilities and equipment (interior and exterior)
• Clean and organize living spaces and outdoor areas
• Manage technical maintenance, contractors, and service providers
• Supervise the vehicle fleet (3 cars) and the zodiac boat maintenance
• Recruit and coordinate seasonal staff for the summer
• Maintain gardens and outdoor furniture
• Manage budgets, invoices, payments, and supplies
• Prepare the house before the arrival of owners or guests

During owners’ presence (mainly in summer):
• Supervise seasonal household staff (2 people, may also handle cooking)
• Perform shopping for groceries and daily needs
• Maintain the house, grounds, and equipment (pool, jacuzzi)
• Clean the boat before and after each use
• Organize leisure activities and occasional events (restaurants, coaches, private parties, chefs, or musicians at home)

• Previous experience in private property management and /or luxury hospitality is required
• Skills in general maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, and general repairs is highly appreciated
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, discretion, and responsibility
• Proactive, hands-on personality with a practical approach to problem-solving
• Languages: Spanish required, French or English preferred
• Flexible working hours (Monday to Friday, occasional weekends, high season included)
• Permanent contract (CDI)
• Salary depending on experience and profile
• Accommodation on-site or nearby possible
• 1.5 to 2.5 months of annual leave, to be taken outside the owners’ presence
• The property manager must arrange their own replacement during absences to ensure continuity in property management
• Open to relocating and residing on the island full-time
