Experienced Housekeeper

For a private family residing in Begnins, Switzerland, EDMAR Int is looking for an experienced housekeeper to manage the upkeep and maintenance. This is a full-time position, with working hours to be defined according to the family’s needs.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• General housekeeping: cleaning floors, windows, dusting, bathrooms, and kitchen.
• Organization and tidying: Optimizing storage spaces and maintaining order within the house.
• Care and maintenance of furniture and delicate surfaces: Taking care of furniture, valuables, and fragile surfaces.
• Laundry management: Washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothes and household linens.
• Knowledge of textiles: Understanding and caring for delicate fabrics.
• Grocery shopping and restocking: Running errands and restocking household supplies as needed.
• Simple meal preparation: Preparing light meals according to the family’s needs.
• Outdoor maintenance: Looking after the terrace and garden furniture.
• Occasional childcare assistance: Helping with the family’s child on occasion.
• Care for the dog: Attending to the needs of the family’s small dog.
• Additional tasks as required: Assisting with various tasks based on family needs.

• Proven experience in private households with verifiable references.
• Knowledge of textiles and appropriate care for delicate fabrics.
• A driving license is preferred for running errands and occasional transport.
• English language skills required for easy communication with the family.
• A valid Swiss work permit is preferred
• Full-time (100%) position, with working days and hours to be defined directly with the family.
• 1.5 to 2 non-consecutive days off per week.
