Gardener/Handyman for a Luxury Private Property

EDMAR International is seeking a dedicated and versatile gardener/handyman to work alongside the current couple managing a beautiful private estate in Cap d’Ail.

Tasks & Responsibilities :
• General maintenance and care of a large terraced garden with numerous staircases
• Pruning of hedges, shrubs, and trees; upkeep of flower beds and plants; lawn mowing
• Seasonal planting of new species in accordance with the climate
• Manual watering and maintenance of automatic irrigation systems
• Ensuring the health of plants and applying preventive treatments for diseases and pests
• Leaf collection and cleaning of pathways and terraces
• Management and upkeep of gardening tools and equipment
• Contributing to the general upkeep of the property: small repairs, maintenance of outdoor installations (garden furniture, lighting, gates, irrigation systems, etc.)
• Checking and cleaning around the pool, occasional intervention as needed
• Running errands for the family as required

• Close collaboration with the on-site couple: coordination with the current gardener and assistance with indoor tasks when needed
• A flexible, dynamic, and autonomous individual with an eye for detail
• Ability to adapt to the family’s needs, with availability for events or receptions
• A passion for cooking is a plus (occasional preparation of simple meals, helping in the kitchen)
• Fluent in English is required; knowledge of French is an advantage
• Long-term position for a dedicated and trustworthy individual
• Day off: Sunday, and one other day depending on the family’s schedule
• Willingness to work on Sundays for receptions or guests when necessary
• The property is located in Cap d’Ail
• French contract
