House Manager/ Butler

For a secondary villa of 1200m2 in St Tropez, EDMAR International is seeking a year-round house manager / butler to oversee the property

Tasks and duties
General Household Management
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residence.
– Maintain the property in impeccable condition, ensuring cleanliness and order.
– Coordinate and supervise all household staff.
– Schedule and oversee their duties, ensuring a well-functioning team.
– Organize and manage household calendars and schedules.
– Handle grocery shopping and maintain household inventories.
– Ensure that the property is well-stocked and supplies are replenished as needed.
Vendor and Service Provider Management:
– Manage relationships with external service providers, including contractors, gardeners, and maintenance personnel.
– Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
Project Management:
– Monitor and oversee any renovation or maintenance projects.
– Present cost estimates and project timelines to the property owner.
Financial Management:
– Handle household expenses and maintain financial records.
– Prepare and present financial reports to the property owner.
Concierge Services:
– Coordinate appointments, events, and family activities.
– Facilitate reservations at restaurants and entertainment venues.
– Organize outings and activities for residents and guests.
– Provide concierge services to meet the needs and preferences of the family
– Coordinate and oversee special events, parties, and gatherings at the residence.
– Ensure all aspects of event planning, including decorations and catering, are well-executed.
– Prepare and set the table for meals.
– Provide impeccable table service for residents and guests.

– Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a private household or luxury hospitality.
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Attention to detail and a high level of discretion.
– Knowledge of St. Tropez and its local services and amenities.
– Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
– English and French spoken are required.
