Live-in Caretaker couple

To manage the daily care and upkeep of a private villa in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, EDMAR Int. is seeking an experienced live-in caretaker couple.
The couple will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of both the interior and exterior of the residence.

• General property maintenance: basic repairs, routine upkeep, and coordination of external contractors (gardener, pool technician, security, etc.).
• Security and supervision: opening/closing the property, access control, and ensuring vigilance when the owners are away.
• Technical oversight: regular checks and monitoring of household systems and installations.
• Vehicle management: cleaning, routine maintenance, scheduling service appointments, and driving the family when required.
• Errands and logistics: grocery shopping, postal errands, receiving and managing deliveries.
• Guest and vendor reception: welcoming visitors, tradespeople, and service providers.
• High-standard interior upkeep: meticulous cleaning, dusting, care of floors, valuables, silverware, and delicate furnishings.
• Laundry and ironing: professional care of household linens and personal clothing, including luxury and delicate items.
• Simple / family-style cooking: meal preparation according to the owners’ requests.
• Supplies and inventory management: grocery shopping, pantry organization, and stock monitoring.
• Table service: refined table setting and service during meals.
• Guest assistance: welcoming guests and supporting the organization of family events or private gatherings.

• Excellent personal presentation and polished manners.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and versatile.
• Proactive, autonomous, and detail-oriented.
• Proven experience in a high-end private residence or luxury household.
• Valid driving license required (at least one of the two).
• Good level of French is required.
• On-site accommodation provided (upkeep of the lodging is the couple’s responsibility).
• Flexible working hours depending on the owners’ presence.
• Salary based on experience and profile.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position (private villas, embassies, high-end estates, etc.).
• Verifiable references mandatory.
