Household Staff - House Manager

For a high-end eco-resort in the scenic mountains of County Wicklow EDMAR Int. is seeking a dedicated Management Couple with a passion for nature, sustainability, and hospitality. This private luxury retreat caters to both private and corporate guests, offering a space to unwind and reconnect with nature. Ideal candidates will have experience in boutique hotels, private estates, or high-end chalets.


Key Responsibilities:

Operations Manager
• Oversee business operations throughout the resort. Ensuring each department delivers a consistently high standard of guest service.
• Maintain cost control in all areas. Budget management and maximise financial opportunities working alongside the owners.
• Carry out regular inspections of all departments to ensure high standards of guest service delivery, cleanliness, guest satisfaction.
• Plan and direct daily operations to include quality, standards, cleanliness & guest satisfaction.
• Work alongside all staff to ensure a smooth day to day operation.
• Attendance at various meetings & events and conduct regular operation meetings with all departments to ensure operational matters, department performance and guest feedback.
• Responsible for all day-to-day queries, problems or complaints that may arise.
• Carry out duty management shifts as required.
• Health and safety to include fire walks and Health and safety audits.
• Promote positive employee relations though effective communication and regular team meetings.
• Establish and review operational policies and procedures on a regular basis.

Head Housekeeper/Front of House
• Supervise, oversee and manage housekeeping staff to ensure the property is kept in top condition, clean, safe and secure always. Ensuring a high standard and good attention to detail
• Front of house; meet and greet guests
• Good administration skills; managing bookings, checking in and out guests, managing payments
• Provide F&B Service
• Manage Inventory and stock
• Manage rosters and schedules


Requirements and conditions:

• Prior experience in a high-end hospitality environment (boutique hotel, UHNW private household, or chalet)
• Hands-on, proactive approach with strong communication, organizational, and staff management skills
• Background in front-of-house and food & beverage service
• Good administrative and operations management skills
• Candidates should be organized, discreet, and committed to excellence in guest service.
• A long-term commitment is preferred, and candidates should ideally hold EU passports.
• Driving is essential, and well-behaved pets are welcome.
• Salary negociable depending on profile and experience.
• 2-bedroom, recently refurbished ground floor apartment provided.
